Margins in Essays and Reports - Definition and Guidelines The part of a page thats outside the main body of text  is a margin.  Word processors let us set margins so that theyre either aligned (justified) or ragged (unjustified). For most school or college writing assignments (including articles, essays, and reports), only the left-hand margin should be justified. (This glossary entry, for instance, is left justified only.) Executives should embrace susceptibility to risk. The traditional managerial approach entails leaders shielding themselves against any risk (Cleveland, 1972). However, future leaders should be willing to get exposed to various forms of risks since they lead to innovation.
